I've been collecting quotes for years. Just one of those things. I never applied any system to how I collected them. Just saw quotes I liked & copied them down. Didn't note where they came from, never confirmed original sources. Now, having built a quote page myself, I'm a little embarrassed. Perhaps I should have been more ordered. More careful. Paid more attention to the details.
